Description

This PR Adds meaningful unit tests for hooks.ts.

Covered:

• successful and failing backend API calls
• conditional request body construction
• annotation filtering logic
• Dexie database initialization

done with the selfreview added new testfile for hooks.ts file and no functional changes were made thats wh nothing breaks and passes all test cases
test coverage for hooks.ts has increaed form 35.89 to 91.48
