Roadmap

Version 1.x

• Optimizing the current MG1 - MG2 encoding, must be compatible to the standard. A lot of opportunities especially for MG2(better reordering, better precision values for compression)
• A live GUI-Tool which can show differences between the original model and the lossy compressed. Shall help users to choose the right precision for MG2 compression.

Version 2

• As from Marcus Geelnard pre-thought, create a Zipfile data structure to handle multiple models + extra data(animation...) in one file
• changes to the format to support a more generic way of vertex attributes handling
• compression optimizations which aren't compatible to the original standard.
• new type of material system
