I’m Elena — a forward deployed engineer and AI/full-stack developer who cares about shipping real systems, not just demos.
I design and build AI-powered automation end-to-end: from data extraction and ML pipelines to evaluation, monitoring, and production-ready web apps. I work especially well in messy, high-stakes environments (regulation, compliance, operations) where data is imperfect, users are busy, and correctness actually matters.
Alongside industry work, I’m a lecturer / teaching assistant in Software Engineering, AI & NLP, turning complex topics into projects that non-CS students can actually build and deploy.
When I’m offline you’ll usually find me snowboarding, surfing, climbing in the Himalayas, teaching yoga, or scuba diving with whale sharks and manta rays.
