I'm a programmer with a background in urban planning and civic technology. I got into coding during my graduate program where I spent a lot of time developing data visualizations and dashboards. I have since been in charge of building, migrating, and maintaining government data systems. In my free time I like to homelab, make games, explore civic data, create generative art, and work on embedded projects.
Most recently I've:
- Wrapped up a batch at the Recurse Center, where I built Deed Dish
- Built a data interoperability layer for the Head Start Program
- Moved the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning's Data Hub to the cloud
