An interactive, animation-driven gaming website inspired by modern Awwwards-style UI experiences. Built as a learning project to explore layout composition, interaction patterns, and motion-based storytelling. This is a tutorial-guided project and also my first hands-on exposure to GSAP. The goal was to understand structure, flow, and interaction logic.
-Minimal navigation bar with toggleable background audio -Immersive hero section with a portal-style interaction that transitions into another video/world -Scroll-based effects where the hero container resizes and moves -Animated titles guiding users through sections -Bento grid layout with interactive tilt effects on cards -“Story of the Hidden Realm” section with motion-driven storytelling -Clear call-to-action and a clean footer
=> React — component-based UI => Tailwind CSS — utility-first styling & responsive layout => GSAP — animations & scroll interactions (first-time usage)
This project helped me: -Understand how interaction-heavy UIs are structured -Learn how motion can support user flow instead of distracting from it -Practice working through complex code by pausing, debugging, and experimenting -Gain exposure to scroll-based and cursor-based interaction patterns!
-Advanced UI work turned out to be significantly challenging, especially when motion logic and math came into play.
