2s block time is final. 10 seconds would be conservative, 10 seconds (conservative wait time) ÷ 2 seconds (block time) = 5 blocks, adding 10 block confermation
Transaction signing may error inside the wallet after the transaction is signed and broadcast. wagmi/viem can't detect this so we use a sidecar monitoring system to find signed transactions that may exist when write errors and recover invisibly.
