It would be cool if you could remove files from the commit that don't need to change, e.g. bottle-alias, web.config :)

Being a beginner in git doesn't help me at all. How can I do that? Rollback to the previous version?

checkout a branch before your work.
on that branch redo your work, and just leave the bad stuff out.

also, it seems to me that web.config was modified for a reason. .bottle-alias I can reverse

reversed changes to Web.config - and my tests failed. will commit reverted .bottle-alias alone in a bit
