This workflow builds the project on ubuntu using g++ and clang++
In the future, we would add windows using msvc, and perhaps macOS, but this should do for now.
Since testing this required a commit for each change, the commit history is a bit messy. I am open to squashing them a bit, so it looks cleaner on main.
