Hi there πŸ‘‹

I'm Giulia, a researcher in the hydrogen sector in the sustainable energy unit of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler, in Trento (Italy).

I use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to model hydrogen flow.

Before my current role, I was a post-doc (research fellow) in Applied Maths at the University of Leeds, where I worked on ice microstructures using machine learning (CNNs) to predict their deformation history.

My PhD was in Fluid Dynamics, simulating melt flow through solid crust using numerical modelling.

I usually work with Python, but I also use some C++. Sometimes I like to play around with R and Julia (because it has the coolest name of them all).
