Thought I should probably put my money where my mouth is.
I modified 1.0.2 so you can easily check what I changed, although I don't really expect you to overwrite 1.0.2 (so as to not break compatibility). I get that you think many other things are irrelevant for online play and that you think that's your main target audience and perhaps you're right; I'll probably make a fork to add more things and further subdivide things in order to make a more face-to-face oriented version.
I think, however, that this PR benefits everybody.
