Based on commercial and technical security considerations, the following entities (hereinafter referred to as the "Restricted Parties") are expressly prohibited from using this project:

The Restricted Parties are explicitly prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
- Using, modifying, distributing, sublicensing, or merging any part of this project
- Utilizing this project for any commercial, research, or other purposes
- Indirectly using or acquiring any interest in this project through third parties

## Copyright History Statement

This project had no explicit license prior to Feb 25, 2025. From Feb 25, 2025, this project has been maintained by Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and distributed under the terms of the "MIT (Made In Taiwan)" License, subject to the Additional Restriction Clause above. For all code and contributions before Feb 25, 2025, by using or contributing to this project, the relevant contributors are deemed to have implicitly consented to the application of these license terms.

## Prior Contributions Handling

If any Restricted Party has made contributions to this project:
1. The copyright of their contributed portions is acknowledged as belonging to them, but the rights of use are subject to the terms of this license
2. The Restricted Parties may not claim rights to use the entire project based on their prior contributions
3. The organization reserves the right to rewrite, replace, or remove portions contributed by the Restricted Parties without further notice

## Legal Effect

This restriction clause constitutes an essential part of this license agreement. If any part of this clause is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The organization reserves the right to seek legal remedies in the event of a violation of this restriction clause by the Restricted Parties, including but not limited to injunctive relief, damages, and compensation for legal fees.

## Scope Confirmation

For the avoidance of doubt, this restriction clause applies only to the Restricted Parties specifically listed above and does not affect the rights granted to other individuals or organizations under the "MIT (Made In Taiwan)" License. Hsiu-An Lee is explicitly excluded from the definition of "Restricted Parties" and is not subject to the above restrictions.

This restriction clause is effective only to the extent permitted by applicable law. In all cases, the standard "MIT (Made In Taiwan)" License terms remain applicable to all non-restricted parties.
