PROBLEM
As part of the distribution network, multiple entities will be involved in either storing or transporting the vaccine and the major challenge would be monitoring of parameters at various distribution entities. At each transfer point from the factory to the patient, drugs can be stolen, adulterated, and replaced. The result of such malpractice leads to financial loss to the drug makers, and more importantly, significant risk to patient safety as Storage and handling errors can cost thousands of dollars to the company in wasted vaccine and revaccination. And this is why we wanna introduce ’Co-shield’.

SOLUTION
So our solution goes like, as the vaccine moves through the supply chain, each transition is automatically pushed into the internal systems and is registered with a time-stamp in a blockchain ledger. This will ensure security and safety of the product. Due to decentralization in blockchain, all the associated necessary data will be visible to the stakeholders without compromising the security. Further, manufacturing inputs, like active pharmaceutical ingredients are also tracked and linked to the final vaccine vials. The blockchain documents essential details of all the vials from the attached IoT devices, thereby making the journey visible to all. Also, including a digital passport stating that the consumer is vaccinated, enables them to return to their daily life.

KEY FEATURES
*Fool proof and transparent distribution system for drug transportation using Blockchain. This will help reduce the black marketing of essential life saving drugs and vaccines.
*IOT based real-time sensor data to notify transporters about any possible cold chain breach, conjunction in route or vehicle failure.
*Amidst the shortage of Oxygen and other Life-saving drugs, we will notify you about any possible availablity of such medical equipments and drugs.
*QR Code Scanner on every vaccine to access the past history.
*Machine-Learning powered dedicated chat-bot that gives you the probability of you being Covid-19 positive based on some General Questions.
*Another Machine-Learning powered chat bot that takes in any symptom you are facing and other similar questions to predict what disease you are facing.
*Use of Blockchain API's to Update consumer and vaccine information.
*Transparent reviewing system for each consumer, where they can share the after-effects of applying the vaccine.

TECH-STACK AND TECHNOLOGIES USED:
*Blockchain
*IOT (Internet of Things)
*Machine Learning
*Truffle
*Ganache
*Etherium
*Solidity
*Flutter
*Javascript
*Babel
*Tensorflow
*Web3
*Kotlin

PROJECT DIRECTORY
*The project directory contains our prototype for the project which is an apk file of our flutter project.
*The apk is configured to listen to API's hosted on the local machine procedure to implement which is listed below.
*However, to test the workflow and functionalities of our app we have provided a special guest access using which you can access our app and view the workflow.

RUNNING CODE ON LOCAL MACHINE
*Our project consists of two parts namely the Blockchain and Web API's and the Flutter Application.
*Blockchain and Web API's - https://github.com/kshitij-arora/Co-Shield.git
Co-Shield is a Blockchain-powered software system for smooth and secure distribution of any vaccine at the time of the Global Pandemic.
Installation
Download node.js to install Co-Shield.
Download the whole code, and in the project folder, run the following command to install all the necessary packages for this project.
npm install
Next, start the ganache application with the following command and keep the terminal live. This will start Ganache with 10 accounts at the Network ID 100. Gas Limit is set to high to prevent any out of gas errors.
ganache-cli --networkId 100 -a 10 --gasPrice 1 --gasLimit 8000000
Now, in a new terminal, (keeping the previous one live) enter the following command to deploy Truffle Smart Contracts.
truffle migrate
Finally, to run the project, type the following command
npm start
Now, if all the steps are successfully executed, the project is ready to listen at port 8545 of localhost:
http://127.0.0.1:8545
Usage
After successfully starting the project, you may make the post requests on the following routes. Post requests should be made in JSON format as mentioned below.
Add Consumer Data
Listening at- /addconsumer
Input:
{"aId": 1, "name": "Consumer1", "age": 1}
Output:
{"success":"1","aId":"1","name":"Consumer1","age":"1","vaccinated":false,"vacId":"0"}
Get Consumer Data
Listening at- /getconsumer
Input:
{"aId": 1}
Output:
{"success":"1","aId":"1","name":"Consumer1","age":"1","vaccinated":false,"vacId":"0"}
Add Manufacturer/Distributor Data
Listening at- /adddistributor
Input:
{"id": 1, "name": "name1", "vaccineName": "vaccine1"}

Add Vaccine Data
Listening at- /addvaccine
Input:
{"id": 1, "vaccineName": "vaccine1", "distributorName": "distributorname1", "transporter": "transporter1"}
Output:
{"success":"1","id":"1","vaccineName":"vaccine1","distributorName":"distributorname1","transporter":"transporter1"}
Get Vaccine Data
Listening at- /getvaccine
Input:
{"id": 1}
Output:
{"success":"1","id":"1","vaccineName":"vaccine1","distributorName":"distributorname1","transporter":"transporter1","temp":"100","loc":"N/A","consumed":false,"consumedBy":"0"}
Consume Vaccine
Listening at- /makevaccinated
Input:
{"id": 1, "aId": 1}
Output:
{"success":"1","consumedVaccine":"1","consumedBy":"1"}
Wrong/Invalid Inputs
If the user provides an invalid input, the success value will be 0, else, it will remain 1.

* Flutter Application: https://github.com/kjain333/Co-Shield.git
We have used Flutter as a cross-platforming tool to provide our application to all users (android and ios) from a single code base.
Installation:
*Clone the project into Android Studio with Flutter set up.
*Enable Dart Support for the project.
*Install all dependencies using "flutter pub get"
*Use "flutter run lib/main.dart" to run the app locally on emulator or physically connected device.
Features:
The application has been built with two interfaces - one for the Consumer and other for the Supplier.
Features available at Consumer Interface:
*Storehouse for Medical Records
*Virtual Healthcare Assistant - A ML based Chatbot which predicts disease who might have based on your symptoms
*Chat Communities where experienced proffesionals can share beneficial information
*Remind Me page where you can set up reminders for important meetings, appointments etc.
*QR Code Scanner - To scan the QR code on vaccine vials and get all details related to storage temperature, manufacturer etc.
*Your vaccination status and consumer feedback
*Details about all vaccine suppliers and their consumer reviews
Features available at Supplier Interface:
*Supplier profile to view consumer reviews and improve delivery system based upon them
*Add vaccination to be used when a particular user has been vaccinated
*Transporter information with can tell them about any cold chain breach, conjuction in route, or missing vaccines
*Transporters can also report vehicle failure so that nearest transporter can be re-routed to him and prevent any loss of vaccine
