When the browser window is narrower, the GitHub panel shows up in the menu on the side and its color must be set manually. This PR does that so that it will match the the primary color. See screenshots below.
I also matched the active link colors (these are right for light mode, but needed to be manually set for dark mode):
The one issue I couldn't fix is that the main menu level (when selecting the above page, for instance) is still the default color, instead of our custom. This doesn't happen in light mode though.
