Hi 👋🏼! My name is Kass and my pronouns are they/them

I'm a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida

I'm a fourth-year Engineering Education PhD student, working with Dr. Nancy Ruzycki. My dissertation focuses on promoting STEM undergraduate student professional formation through mentoring experiences. Outside of research, I am in my third and final term as President of the Policy Advocacy in Science and Engineering (PASE) student organization at the University of Florida, which I founded in 2022. I am also the lead web developer for the Scientist Network for Advancing Policy (SNAP).
