The flick-sync server is built to be deployed on a Raspberry Pi or similar low-powered device and powered from a USB power bank. This wiki includes some instructions on how to setup the device to support this.

You must:

Set up a systemd service to run flick-sync
Set up networking to allow wifi devices to connect
Optionally set up an SSL certificate to allow Chromecast to work.
