Accessing the Administration Panel and Customisation

After you have a running installation you can access the administration panel by going to http://sdlt-ip/admin and logging in with the credentials that are in the .env file. If you're running the docker deployment then you'll need to use http://sdlt-ip:666/admin as the port mapping is on a non-standard port to prevent potential conflicts.

Site Name

The first thing to change is the site name, this is the value that is shown in the tab of the browser for the user. This can be changed by going to Settings. If the Main tab is not selected at the top right, select it.

Access Control

Access control to the SDLT is done with user accounts within the Silverstripe CMS. This can be changed to use OAUTH2 through AAD if you'd like to federate identities. This will require an application account in AAD and a group for users to belong to.

Further refinement of access control (i.e. group membership) is handled within the SDLT.

Access Control for logged in users can be modified through the Settings -> Access menu.

Images / Logos

Images and Logos can be modified through the Settings -> Images menu. By default, the NZ Transport Agency logo and images will be used.

Footer Copyright Notice

The foot text can be changed through the Settings -> Footer menu. By default, a copyright to the Transport Agency will be displayed.
