This PR brings the ORBIT dependency in line with ORBIT's latest release (1.2.5) and updates some of the underlying data.

Hey Rob, great job making these updates on the example config files and notebook! It looks good to me overall. I did make the run on my end and I got exactly the same capex as in the COWER: 2025 Edition so it seems like everything has migrated perfectly on the ORBIT side. I just have 2 comments:

  • The title of the notebook is Cost of Wind Energy Review 2024. Could you update it to Cost of Wind Energy Review: 2025 Edition?
  • On the metrics_configuration, I see there are two capacity factors metrics that output exactly the same results Net Capacity Factor With Wake Losses (%) and Net Capacity Factor With All Losses (%), should we eliminate one and just call it Net Capacity Factor (%)?
  • (optional) I know that the purpose of the notebook is not to replicate the exact COWER 2025 results but just demonstrate the workflow, but there would be a small change that would get the results much closer to the COWER results and would not take much to implement in case you want to include it. For the fixed_charge_rate on the base WAVES files, If you used 0.0638 for fixed-bottom and 0.0706 for floating (the inputs from COWER 2025) instead of 0.0648 the results would be much closer to the new edition but understand if you dont want to implement this since this is all about the workflow.

Thanks for the suggestions, @dmulash! I've incorporated them all in my latest commit.
