re-encode files to UTF-8 to avoid issues with spanish accents replace deprecated use of raw Enumeration to Iterator through List

unfortunately, due to native lib dependencies, build cannot succeed on travis... I'm not sure who is the maintainer of this project, so please @dquiroz123 @josepplloo @sebasMonsalve @danielgara could you please tell me who can review this PR? Thanks |
