Welcome to the whereami application! This tool helps you pinpoint your internet location right in your terminal. You can use it for proxy and VPN testing, and it provides both IPv4 and IPv6 connection information.
You will need the following to use whereami:
- A computer running Windows, macOS, or a Linux-based OS.
- An active internet connection.
- Basic knowledge of how to use your terminal.

- Proxy Testing: Verify the functionality of proxies directly from your terminal.
- Reverse DNS Lookup: Find the domain name associated with an IP address.
- User-Agent Spoofing: Change your user agent string for testing responses from websites.

Visit the Releases Page: Click the link below to go to the download page. Download Latest Release

Choose Your Version: You will see several versions listed. Select the latest version for your operating system.

Download the File:
- For Windows users, download the
.exefile. - For macOS users, download the
.dmgfile. - For Linux users, download the appropriate package.

Install the Application:
- Windows: Double-click the
.exefile and follow the prompts to install. - macOS: Open the
.dmgfile and drag the whereami app into your Applications folder. - Linux: Use your package manager to install the downloaded package.

Run the Application:
- Open your terminal.
- For Windows, search for whereami in your Start menu.
- For macOS and Linux, type
whereamiin your terminal and hit Enter.
Once the application is running, simply type whereami and press Enter. The software will display your current IP, location data, and other relevant information in the terminal.
