Smart Nepal (QSMARTE) is a premier 8-week virtual research incubator and innovation hub designed for high-potential students in Nepal. The platform facilitates a rigorous project-based learning curriculum, connecting pre-university scholars with global mentors from institutions like Zoom, University of Georgia, and West Virginia State University.
The QSMARTE platform is built as a high-performance, scalable web application designed to handle global traffic and dynamic content delivery.
- Frontend: Built with TypeScript and React for a type-safe, modular UI architecture.
- Design System: Engineered using Tailwind CSS and Advanced CSS3, focusing on an intuitive "Academic-Tech" aesthetic.
- Deployment & Infrastructure: Orchestrated via Vercel for edge-optimized delivery and sub-second Time-to-Interactive (TTI).
- AI Integration: The ecosystem highlights advanced AI projects including NeuroX Copilot (AI Voice Assistant) and HOPEO AI.
- Project-Based Learning (PBL) Engine: A structured interface for tracking diverse research tracks including Quantum Computing, AI, and Cybersecurity.
- Responsive Identity: Fully optimized for low-bandwidth environments in Nepal, ensuring accessibility across all devices.
- Database Integration: Securely manages student applications, project proposals, and mentor-matching logic.
The platform serves as the deployment hub for several high-impact initiatives:
- NeuroX Copilot: An AI-driven strategy coach for founders.
- HOPEO AI: A recovery platform merging data insights with voice automation.
- Smart Attendance: An Arduino-based RFID system for automated educational tracking.
- Heart Disease Prediction: A Machine Learning pipeline for cardiovascular risk assessment.
The platform is supported by an elite board of advisors:
- Dr. Ali Alsinayyid (West Virginia State University)
- Professor Hamid R. Arabnia (University of Georgia)
- Adarsh Bhattarai (Software Engineer @ Zoom)
- Project Lead: Shikhar Pandey
