So in reviewing the lists, I still found some discontinuities.

To create the list of what is used I used:

$list = @()
findstr /s /c:"FOOD=" *.dfn | %{ $splut = $_.split( ':' ); $list += @( $splut[1] ); }
$list | Sort-Object -Unique

And then I compared it against the lists in the JS file.

Used, but not referenced in JS - metal, snake
Referenced in JS, but not used - crops, eggs, parrot
