Questions about motivation for using Julia for IK #3

Hi, thank you for sharing this great work — it’s very helpful.

I noticed that the repository includes both a Julia-based IK implementation and a Python-based IK implementation. I was wondering if you could share some insights on the differences between these two versions.

Specifically:

  • Are there significant performance differences between the Julia and Python IK solvers?
  • What was the main motivation for using Julia for the IK part?
  • Does the Julia version provide better solution quality or robustness, or is it mainly for computational efficiency?

I’d really appreciate any clarification or design rationale you could share. Thanks again!
