EXP: Try using sphinx.ext.apidoc instead of sphinx-automodapi #571

I finally got this to work too. This is nice because it just uses vanilla sphinx. Obviously the public vs private API needs cleaning up, but at least it works. One thing it doesn't seem to do is one page per object.
