Installation

The beroNet OpenPBX requires 3 Apps to be pre-installed:

  1. asterisk http://www.beronet.com/downloads/berofix/apps/OpenPBX/asterisk_app.tar.gz
  2. asterisk-sounds http://www.beronet.com/downloads/berofix/apps/OpenPBX/asterisk_sounds_en.tar.gz
  3. beroNet OpenPBX http://www.beronet.com/downloads/berofix/apps/OpenPBX/OpenPBX_app.tar.gz

The apps can be installed via the beroNet Gateway GUI. For the installation of the app, the standard firmware installer is used (Management->Firmware Update).

After the installation, the userapps need to be enabled in the GUI under Preferences->Miscellaneous

After a reboot, the userapps will be started automatically.

Setup

The OpenPBX communicates via SIP to the Gateway Software. The OpenPBX runs on SIP Port 25060 by default. This means a SIP Account needs to added in the beroNet Gateway, under SIP. You can just use the IP address of the berofix as server. Let's say the IP of berofix is 10.0.0.2, then the Server field in the SIP account for the OpenPBX needs to be

10.0.0.2:25060

The OpenPBX can be configured via Apps->OpenPBX, here you need to define a Trunk for the beroNet Gateway as well.
