Includes support for Minecraft 1.20.2. Only a couple months late. Also some long overdue bugtweakfixes. Uni student moment.

Bugfixes:

  • Waypoint rendering when using resource packs with font textures should be fixed (previously didn't render certain map/waypoint text)
  • [DevEnv] gradle-wrapper.properties is now included in the repo, it should be possible to clone and build now without updating gradle.

Added:

  • Waypoint [temporary] highlighting. Need to see something NOW and on top of everything else? Click the highlighter to the left of a waypoint in the menu. Highlights bypass visibility toggles and filters, if waypoint rendering is enabled you will see them. This has been done for months, I should have pushed it sooner.

Minor Tweaks:

  • Auto-Position and Draw Mode description tweaked in the readme.
  • Default max-ui-scale for waypoints on the map set to 2 (previously 1).
  • Updated loom to 1.4 and gradle to 8.3.

Quick patch to fix two bugs preventing waypoint importing.

If you imported waypoints and did not encounter any errors, check to make sure waypoints for dimensions that were not loaded at time of import or during your play session were actually saved.

Bugfixes:

  • The Xaero waypoint importer should no longer cause groups to be generated with the same UUID and no name.
  • The Xaero waypoint importer should now save a world's waypoints after immediately import rather than at an indeterminate time (if at all).

Added:

  • Changing resource packs now immediately schedules all loaded regions to be re-rendered with the new textures.
  • A Remove All button was added to the Import List screen.
  • Added a waypoint group and filter section to the Readme guide.

Minor Changes:

  • In the Readme guide: replaced a screenshot with one from a non-dev world and clarified the "Default Data" option in importers.

It's finally ready!

This is the initial soft-release of ShadowMap version 2 beta.

Re: SemVer: All 2.0 releases will be beta releases.
Existing API should be considered unstable for development use, though I will try to keep changes to a minimum.
Don't delete imported map data, and use the mod at your own risk.
I am using it too in its current state, it has been stable over the past few days, but I make no guarantees of stability during this initial release period.
