I faced issue with disappearance of part of option text when it contains special HTML-characters.
Then problem was in creation of
optionDOM elements, which was performed by simple string concatenation. Found same issue inoptgroups.So I fixed that by using jQuery APIs & updated demo to include case with special HTML-characters for
optionelements.
