Why Did I Make StackBase

Backend programming makes up a huge, vastly important sector of computer science, and yet most colleges do not teach it outside of upper level courses and most programmers do not learn it until after years of learning. The barriers of entry to understanding and implementing a backend are still high, even in today's tech-driven world. When I first took it upon myself to start building iOS applications, the hardest part of my journey, by a wide margin, was implementing a database. Ambitious developers don't wait for a course to teach them backend. They jump right into it with no training. Of course, many fail to fully grasp the process required to design a scalable backend environment. I want to help enable these people in manifesting their goals, and ultimately expand StackBase into Swift, Java, C++, and even web design, so that anyone with a good work ethic who wants to build a full-scale project can do so.
