Hi,
I have worked on an integration of a datepicker (https://github.com/chrisdavies/tiny-date-picker) and moment.js for i18n.
It had an option "Date picker" under "Input field".
It is like the input field, and initialize a Date picker on the element.
The Datepicker has no dependencies on jQuery and integrates well with moment.js.
