Hey @fiasco, this prevents a fatal on one of our Archimedes setups - we shouldn't iterate the result of dir() if it's not successful

(yeah, so I found it via a misconfig, but I think it's valid anyway)

would be really nice if we could get the error back from archimedes_directory_scan() in the library to the Drupal plugin - then we can report on the error more usefully.

If we weren't in an external lib, I'd just throw in a watchdog() in else { } ...
