Summary of Changes

Hello @jmichelp, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on enhancing the accuracy and clarity of type checking within the codebase by addressing specific mypy errors. It refines existing type ignore directives to be more precise, particularly for decorator usage, and removes a redundant type ignore comment, contributing to a cleaner and more robust type-checked environment.

Highlights

  • Mypy Type Ignore Refinement: The generic type: ignore[misc] comments for @nnx.jit and @jax.jit decorators have been replaced with the more specific type: ignore[untyped-decorator] to improve type checking precision.
  • Redundant Mypy Ignore Removal: An unnecessary type: ignore[index] comment has been removed, indicating improved type inference or a previously redundant ignore.

Code Review

This pull request correctly addresses mypy errors. The changes from type: ignore[misc] to the more specific type: ignore[untyped-decorator] are a good practice, making the code's intent clearer. Removing the type: ignore[index] is also a positive change, presumably because it's no longer necessary. Overall, these modifications improve the code's static analysis hygiene.
