Changes:

  • Dropping support for geoip2/geoip2 v2
  • Dropping support for PHP versions bellow 8.1
  • Dropping support for Symfony versions bellow 6.4
  • Add support for Symfony 8
  • Test latest PHP versions (8.4 and 8.5)
  • Modernize tooling (PHPUnit, PHPStan, Rector, PHP CS Fixer, ...)
  • Adapting codebase to drop old things

@peter-gribanov Hello! Would you have a chance to take a look at this PR?
Merging it might require releasing a new major version, but I think it’s a great opportunity to modernize the codebase and update the requirements. This is exactly what the PR is aiming to achieve.

The CI fails are only related to the coverage jobs and I think I can't do anything about it.
