1. Get additional layers:
- Ward boundary files at the Regional level http://www.regionofwaterloo.ca/en/regionalGovernment/WardBoundaries.asp
- Other:
- Neighbourhood boundaries http://app.kitchener.ca/opendata/ds_detail.aspx?dsid=59
- Issue: Kitchener has JSON (yay!) but the coordinates are in UTM projection (boo), which does not seem to play with GitHub and is also not the standard for JSON (that being WGS84)
- Yay! Kitchener also has shp files that use lat/lon which can be converted to JSON (or topoJSON even) with shpescape.com
