MountMate 2.0

Release for MountMate version 2.0.

This is a major update focused on reliability and user experience, based on fantastic user feedback!

Important: Breaking Change

To make the "Ignore" and "Protect" features much more reliable, we've changed how these settings are saved.

  • Your existing lists of ignored and protected volumes will be reset by this update.
  • We apologize for the inconvenience, but you will need to re-add any volumes you wish to ignore or protect.

Improvements:

  • Smarter Persistence: Ignored and protected volume settings now use the persistent Volume UUID, so they will survive reboots and plugging drives into different ports.
  • Clearer Management: You can now see the volume's name next to its ID in the "Ignored" and "Protected" lists, making them much easier to manage.
