What Changed
This PR automates the release of version 0.8.2. The main change is a bug fix in src/kernel/_models.py where the construct_type function was updated to ignore empty metadata during parsing, making the logic more robust. The remaining changes update the version number across the project in files like pyproject.toml and CHANGELOG.md.
