I also just added a fix for a problem where on IE/Safari/Chrome, resizing the window causes the scroll event to move the page to the top. |

While the default behavior very nice, I have a scrolling top / header type dock that needs to keep on moving even when the viewport is too small to fit it completely in. Of course, since the item is fixed position, scrolling left or right doesn't allow the user to view the edges of the scrolling element, which is kind of crappy, but it serves my needs well enough. Let me know if you'd rather see a different name or if there's a better way to do it.
