Alexander McIntosh is a data scientist with a background in physics and human services, driven by the convergence of data science, statistics, and artificial intelligence (AI) to address global challenges. He holds a Statistics and Data Science MicroMasters from MITx, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Music from Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota Certified in SQL, Python, Cloud Computing, and Data Science, he brings a diversity of technical expertise to the table.
In his role as a Generative AI (GenAI) Analyst at Optum, Alexander engineers large language models for complex analysis, enhances generative AI output quality, and tests the frontiers of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). With a passion for accessibility and inclusion, he has also contributed to human services roles, aligning with his dedication to data-driven insights and a more equitable future.
