Settings

The Settings page is activated using the Settings button:

• Default PSSDIAG Path is the path where PSSDIAG will generate a new .zip file by default. You can change the default or upon every new save of a configured PSSDIAG you can brows to a directory different from default. This option is for convenience.
• Background color selects the main color of the Pssdiag/SQLDiag Configuration Manager Utility
• Create Email on Save toggles the option to generate an automatic email to be sent out with a link to instructions and a hash generated of the .zip file. If you uncheck this, no email will be generated. If the box is checked, the default email client on the Windows system will be launched with the email in it.

Settings File

The settings are stored in the Roaming user profile directory, in a file called Diagmanager.user.preferences. Typically, the path looks like this: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Pssdiag\Diagmanager.user.preferences
