The
downloadFileFromUrlfunction invscode/npm-package/install.tswas vulnerable to infinite redirect loops, which could cause memory exhaustion, CPU exhaustion, and potential denial-of-service attacks. The function recursively followed HTTP redirects without any limit, making it susceptible to redirect loops.Changes Made
