@brettallred does this look correct to you? I'm not using any of the durable stuff right now in production so I thought you might already know. It makes sense to me that you would define the topic exchange as durable if you are going to be making your queues durable. |

@mmmries, thank you for the gem! Since exchanges and queues can be durable/transient independently I suggest adding a new configuration parameter. |

@zenovich sorry for being totally negligent on this PR. Is this still an important feature for you? Would you want to rebase this against master and try to get this released |
