Hello, and welcome! My name is Neil, and I have a PhD in high energy physics. My PhD thesis focused on calibration software and lead to a precision mass measurement of the Higgs boson performed in collaboration with the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at the European Center for Nuclear Research's (CERN) Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Which is all together too many acronyms, and a mouthful and a half.
I grew up outside and have always had a vested interest in "leave no trace," which is how I got interested in climate tech.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me ๐ง bouldering, ๐ฅ playing disc golf, ๐จโ๐ณ cooking, or ๐๐ซ traveling!
๐๐ Tango Puzzle Game - A logic puzzle game where players place suns and moons on a grid following constraint rules. Built with SvelteKit and FastAPI, featuring leaderboard tracking and dynamically generated puzzles. This is a reverse engineered version of the Tango game by LinkedIn. I enjoyed playing it so much that I wanted more than 1 game per day, so I built my own version of it. Happy grid harmonizing!
