Heimdall

Heimdall is a Hacker News (HN) content curator available as a browser extension. It helps you stay updated with the latest HN news and discussions directly from your browser.

Installation

Chrome

Install Heimdall from the Chrome Web Store:

Install Heimdall for Chrome

Firefox

Install Heimdall as a temporary add-on for development:

1. Open Firefox and navigate to about:debugging
2. Click "This Firefox" in the sidebar
3. Click "Load Temporary Add-on..."
4. Select the manifest.json file from the Heimdall directory

Usage

1. Click on the Heimdall icon in your browser toolbar.
2. The popup will display the latest HN news and discussions.
3. Click on any news title to open the link.
4. Click on the comments link to view the discussion.
5. Use the refresh button to update the news feed.
