This is airpods - a user-friendly CLI designed to make popular open-source AI services convenient and accessible to anyone!

Motivation

Commercial AI is censored, restricted and expensive- not to mention the privacy concerns that arise when large companies are involved with your personal data. The best way to address this is by getting as many consumers as possible into the Free & Open-Source (FOSS) AI ecosystem where anyone can run anything, anywhere.

Like many things in life, this is much easier said than done. Even though FOSS AI has matured significantly in recent times, a large barrier-to-entry still exists, even for seasoned developers. This industry exists on the bleeding-edge of technology leaving anyone looking to get started with a ton to learn, experiment with and decide.

While I cannot promise airpods will help your grandmother setup and manage her own local AI infrastructure, I can at least try by providing the community with a well-structured orchestration tool that glues together some of the best available services on the market in a neat-and-tidy fashion.
