I adore Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. There's this scene (the cover) where Miles is at the top of the Williamsburg Savings Bank, moving closer to the edge. He asks: "When do I know I'm Spider-Man?"
Peter's answer? "You won't. That's all it is, Miles... a leap of faith."
The screenplay (it's in the assets folder) describes what happens next: "Miles walks to the edge of the roof, the wind buffeting... and LEAPS! The camera is UPSIDE DOWN. Miles isn't falling through frame. He's RISING."
That's the thing, right? You don't know if you're ready. You won't know until you jump. And when you do, the camera flips. You're not falling. You're rising.
