As it worked originally, the items in the list were fairly hard to discriminate - making it hard to reorder large collections.
Having added some nice boxes around the list items, giving them a backround, some padding and (for modern browsers) a rounded corner the stuff is looking much cleaner now. Also, the text has been styled in the same way as that in the Django Admin's list view - to create a more consequent user experience. More improvements might be following in this branch.
