I'm not actually super-self-centered. I just wanted to be able to push a gem separate from ryanb's version so I could use it immediately.

Hey Ryan,
I actually took a fork by Milesz Turrent (which i think is no longer on github) and added my new support feature. Some good things that Miles had done was remove the ActiveSupport dependency. I'd love to see these changes incorporated in your main branch. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
