Update Ruby from 2.0.0 to 3.1.2 and update the gems as well. This brings the repository to a more recent Ruby environment.
Depends on pull request #4 but the
.github/workflows/ci.yml(commit c7a4ad5) can easily be removed of you prefer not to use GitHub Actions.
