I am greatly inspired by the “Cornfield Chase” track from Interstellar. I feel it provides an out of the world experience to the listener and so I thought it would be a great choice for a sound and light show I created for a cultural festival. Using Python and the PyDMXControl library, I concurrently controlled the color, intensity and timing of a set of six DMX lights according to the amplitude and pitch of the song, varying the light patterns for different sections of the song. This created an amazing audio-visual experience for the audience.
