This allows pytailer to support logrotate and temporary file deletion (e.g., file has been deleted and then created again).
In such use cases, the original file should be closed (if possible) and then opened again (thus the need for a filename).
We test two cases - one is the exception - the file has been deleted, and the second one is that the i-nodes are different (the logrotate case).
