Description of changes:
Copies the OpenTelemetry dependent source files out of smithy-swift and publishes them as an independent Swift package. The only changes to the source files in
Sources/SmithySwiftOpenTelemetry/after copying them here from smithy-swift is that imports have been added for types that are in the smithy-swift package.Dependencies are added:
A smithy-swift PR has been opened for removing this functionality from smithy-swift. It will not be merged until this repo has been made public, and customers have been provided with a transition period to move their OpenTelemetry implementation from the old one to the new one:
smithy-lang/smithy-swift#996
