I’m a Computing Science and Bioinformatics student at the University of Alberta with hands-on experience building software across web, mobile, and research settings.

Through academic projects, research work, independent contracting, and my role as VP Projects at NeuralbertaTech, I build applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and Firebase, with a focus on structured workflows, reusable components, and data-driven dashboards. In these roles, I’ve worked with secure authentication (Google OAuth), email automation, and third-party API integrations, and I regularly write integration and UI tests to ensure reliability.

Alongside web development, I develop native Android applications using Java and Firebase, applying MVC architecture and real-time data synchronization to support dynamic user experiences.

I also work as a research programmer, where I develop and maintain MATLAB scripts to support data analysis, automate experimental workflows, and improve the efficiency and reproducibility of research processes. This role has shaped my interest in data science, particularly in working with data from processing and analysis through to insight generation. I primarily work with Python, SQL, and scientific computing tools, using my software background to support data workflows and visualization when needed.

I’m interested in data science, machine learning, and applying data-driven methods to real-world and research problems.
